Welcome
This Conference will examine how evaluation and assessment policies can work together more effectively to improve student outcomes in primary and secondary schools. It will build upon a major 3-year review of evaluation and assessment policies in 25 countries, the OECD Review on Evaluation and Assessment Frameworks for Improving School Outcomes. The final synthesis report from the OECD Review will be released at the conference.
The aim is to foster opportunities for discussion and dialogue among policy makers, researchers, primary and secondary education practitioners, professional associations, representatives of students, teachers and school leaders, evaluation and assessment agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
The event is being jointly sponsored and organised by the Ministry of Education and Research of Norway, the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training, and the OECD.
